Support to the actual execution of the Implementation Plan for Photovoltaics of the SET Plan and monitoring the Implementation Plan’s delivery

Perovskite-silicon tandems are considered by many to be the photovoltaic technology of the future that will allow to produce cost-effective PV panels with efficiencies above 30%, thereby surpassing the theoretical efficiency limits of silicon PV technology which is the current workhorse of the industry. Although many companies and research groups have shown lab efficiencies that are nearing the 30% mark, most of these devices are still on a very small surface area and produced with lab processes. Hence, a lot more collaborative research and development is needed to tackle issues such as upscaling to large module sizes, improving the device stability, optimizing the energy yield, lowering the processing cost, etc.

Are you working within this field and looking to make new connections and find partners to work with on future Perovskite-silicon tandems projects under international and/or national funding schemes?

Then you can't miss the next PV Impact ONLINE matchmaking event on 1 December 2021!
