Optimizing the Operations and Diagnosis of PV Plants to increase PV systems’ efficiency and competitiveness but also guarantee the lowest possible operational costs is key to EU’s energy transition.
A new online matchmaking event of the PV IMPACT project on this topic took place successfully on 10 June 2021. 11 experts met virtually in a dedicated platform to discuss project ideas and find synergies for collaboration.
The event opened with an introduction of the PV Impact project, followed by a presentation by Zabala on their recently published report on 'Funding instruments for energy innovation' developed in the framework of the SMARTSPEND project. Presentations were then followed by a session organized around a speed-dating format (one-to-one networking meetings), where participants held a series of 7-minute conversations with each other. These dynamic interactions allowed them to communicate the essential information about their plans and ambitions and to identify whether the person opposite to them had an initiative they would like to be part of.
Interactions were ranked by the participants in order to identify the best project idea and the most collaborative partner.
