The first Scientific & Technical meeting (Sci & Tech) of the PV Impact H2020 project (WP3) took place on October 1st 2019 at Photowatt in Bourgoin-Jallieu, France. Renowned European experts in the field of silicon and cast-mono ingots crystallization coming from seven countries participated to the meeting to share their views on the status of public researches on the topic of cast-mono wafers used for photovoltaic cells and how to bring support to the European R&I activities linked to the mitigation of the known dislocation issue for this silicon material with low-carbon footprint.
